Musselburgh Flood Protection Scheme - 10/01/2025

I toured the proposed site of the Musselburgh Flood Protection Scheme, meeting with Council representatives and the lead on the scheme.

It was extremely helpful to hear exactly how the scheme will protect Musselburgh from severe flooding, but also how concerns from residents are being properly considered.

We need to protect Musselburgh - but there have been hundreds of objections to the current proposals and I want to ensure the process is working. Local views must be incorporated as we prevent flooding.

For any residents who wish to discuss their concerns, please do get in touch on chris.murray.mp@parliament.uk.
